CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY DISCUSSES ISSUES IMPACTING PEOPLE WITH I/DD

Last Wednesday, March 6, 2019, the California State Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Health & Human Services held a hearing to discuss several issues impacting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout the state. Members of the committee listened to more than six hours of testimony by the Governor’s administration, the Legislature, and from the public on proposals that will have both immediate and long-lasting impacts to the I/DD community. The provide rate study and emergency 8% funding increase for Lanterman Act services and supports (starting at 1:05:00 on the video)
