U.S. Department of Labor Seeking Comments on 14c Sub-Minimum Wage Certificates – June 21 Deadline For Comments

U.S. Department of Labor Seeking Comments on 14c Sub-Minimum Wage Certificates
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), through its ePolicyWorks initiative, is currently hosting the Section 14(c) National Online Dialogue until Friday, June 21 to gather perspectives on Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. We invite you to join the conversation and share your ideas and comments regarding local trends, experiences with transition, and visions for the future regarding Section 14(c) and the employment of people with disabilities.
Our goal is to capture perspectives about Section 14(c) based on individual input from those “on the ground.” The information gathered during this online dialogue will provide ODEP with an opportunity to better understand the current landscape, as well as the opportunities and challenges experienced by those who have transitioned away from Section14 (c) certificates, and ideas for future policies. This online event is open to all. We strongly encourage everyone to participate including individuals with disabilities, their families, providers, disability organizations, employers, researchers, and other stakeholders who have experience with or opinions about Section 14(c).
Please help spread the word about this dialogue to others who may be interested in being part of the conversation. If you or someone you know is not able to contribute to the Section 14(c) National Online Dialogue via this online platform, but would like to share ideas and comments, perspectives or experiences around Section 14(c), please contact [email protected] or ODEP at 202-693-7880 for further assistance.

Visit 14cDialogue.IdeaScale.com today to share your experiences and ideas, and to comment on ideas submitted by others. We look forward to your contributions.
