California legislators are getting a better understanding of what it’s like to live with intellectual and developmental disabilities by spending a day with someone who does. #WorkWithMe4ADay is shining a light on the some of the most important needs more than 360,000 Californians face each day.
Assemblymember Kevin Mullin from California’s 22nd District of San Mateo, gets to know Mitzi, her support staff, family members and the organization who support them. He hopes other legislators will stand with him in supporting this wonderful group of people who really need help at the state level.
