The California State Legislature finished up the two-year legislative session on August 31, culminating months of meetings, hearings and legislators advocating on behalf of their constituents. We would like to thank our champions in the legislature for stepping up for our community. CLICK HERE to view the list of 23 bills that The Arc & UCP California Collaboration has supported and now these bills have successfully landed on Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk awaiting his decision to either sign the bills into law or veto the bill. Please reach out to the Governor to share your support for these bills as soon as possible as he is reviewing and deciding the fate of more than 1,000 bills by the end of September.
