The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) Seeks Representative

The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) is seeking a person with a disability and a business representative to serve as representatives to the Committee.

 

The CCEPD makes policy recommendations to the California Health and Human Services Agency and the Labor and Workforce Development Agency on increasing the rate of employment of people with disabilities. The CCEPD also influences policy and program development on State coordination efforts for people with disabilities.

 

Several California Departments, business representatives, community-based organizations and people with disabilities are members of the Committee. CCEPD Members are required to participate in quarterly full-day meetings in Sacramento, participate on a Subcommittee, provide perspective from their representation, and provide feedback to policymakers. Members are reimbursed for travel costs.

  • Copy of resume
  • Two letters of recommendation

 

Candidates will be interviewed by the Executive Officer. The selection process is competitive. Appointments shall be made at the discretion of the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency.
