Jordan Lindsey, Executive Director of The Arc California, Provides Testimony to The California Legislature
On March 7th the California State Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Health & Human Services heard and discussed several proposals that would have a direct impact on individuals, families, direct support professionals, and providers in the IDD community. All of the issues were “held open”, which is typical of a hearing at this time and means that the Legislature will officially vote on all of these items after May when the state has a better fiscal understanding on tax revenue collected.
