March 18 – 20th in Sacramento, CA
Our conference is the leading event for self-advocates, family members, community service providers, direct support professionals, regional center professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding and influencing public policy to build a better today and tomorrow for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Please join us this spring to expand your knowledge of diverse, relevant topics that have immediate current and future implications for people in our community.
This year we will explore the theme:
INTERSECTIONS – WHERE DISABILITY & LIFE MEET
Intersections are the places where two things come together and have an effect on each other. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience many intersections throughout their lives when critical choices must be made about health, education, housing, employment, transportation, criminal justice, family and personal relationships, and others. This conference will explore those intersections and the implications for public policy.
