New Guidance on Rate Adjustment for Transportation Providers

On February 4 the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) provided a webinar training specifically for transportation providers that are vendors by regional centers and detailed how the upcoming rate increases will take effect. The rate increases are the result of the 2021-22 state budget that included implementation of the DDS Rate Study. The increases will begin April 1, 2022 with an increase of 25% of the differential between the provider’s current rate and the rate established in the Rate Study. The slides of the presentation can be found at https://www.dds.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Rates_Presentation_02042022.pdf.
