March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Last week we kicked off Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month by highlighting the feature artist chosen by the NCDD. This week I want to take the opportunity to feature a Northern California band known as the Stockton Advocates! They are an amazing group of musicians who for many years, prior to COVID-19, were sharing their talent and music at many events in their community. I have had the opportunity to hear them play on several occasions and can’t wait until I have the chance to hear them again. They are a fun, talented group that can play and sing nearly all types of music – rock-n-roll, country, pop, Hawaiian, and Christmas music are just a few of the songs that I have heard them play. They are a bright light wherever, and whenever, they perform.
