The California Legislature’s nonpartisan fiscal and policy advisor office, Legislative Analyst’s Office, has recently released a summary of Governor Newsom’s proposed 2022-23 budget for services and supports for Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The report provides background on California’s system of services coordinated by regional centers and created by the Lanterman Act.
