We are very excited to announce Assembly Member Stephanie Nguyen as keynote speaker for the 1st Annual “DisCo at the Capitol: California Disability Community Advocacy Day” on Wednesday, April 10th at the State Capitol in Sacramento, CA. Assembly Member Nguyen has a special connection to the disability community, which she will share more about during her remarks. Nguyen is working hard behind the scenes as a champion for Californians with disabilities and signed onto a letter to the Assembly and Senate Budget Chairs asking for their support in rejecting the Governor’s $1 billion delay/cut in funding for vital disability services and supports.
