14th Annual Disability Capitol Action Day is Coming Up

The Disability Action Coalition is gearing up for the 14th annual Disability Capitol Action Day. The event will take place Thursday, June 7th at Cesar Chavez Plaza in downtown Sacramento and the California State Capitol. This year the Disability Action Coalition is expecting 1000 people across all disability groups, their families, and allies to show up to learn about available resources, and upcoming policies that will affect people with disabilities throughout the state. Events will include a resource fair, an educational rally, a march to the capitol, and opportunities to meet with your local legislators to speak about the needs of people with disabilities in your local communities.

If your organization or business is interested in participating as a vendor during the resource fair there is still time to register and reserve a booth. This is an excellent opportunity to share what you do with a broad section of the disability community. Click here to sign up.
