There is a list of services that are posted on the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) website and all 21 Regional Centers websites for you to know what services are available in our area. Stay informed on services you might not be aware of that are available. If you don’t see something on the list you might need, there are many avenues on how to find out if there is something specific to meet your needs, such as your Regional Center (Service Coordinator), Disability Rights Calif (Clients Rights Advocates) and the Department of Developmental Services (Ombudsman Program). Also, your local service providers are very knowledgeable and helpful in identifying services that are available. Stay informed and ask questions.
