Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen’s Letter to Governor Newsom Gaining Support with Members of the Legislature

California Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen, who is the parent of a child with special needs, has been working hard to effectively garner bi-partisan support for her letter to Governor Gavin Newsom rejecting his proposed $1 billion in funding cuts to disability services.

Currently, almost all Assemblymembers have signed onto the letter, while only a few Senators have shown support.

We encourage you to reach out to your state Senator, asking them to sign onto the letter and show a united front that supports Californians with developmental disabilities, their families and the workforce who delivers their vital services.
